On Friday afternoon, an Insomnia Cookies employee was found dead at the store location inside Charles Commons.
The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) arrived to the scene at around 3:15 p.m.
“This incident is being investigated as a suspicious death/possible suicide.” Detective Raganzu Howard, of the BPD Media Relations Unit, wrote in an email to The News-Letter.
According to University Spokesperson and Director of Communications Dennis O’Shea, the woman was not a Hopkins affiliate.
Insomnia Cookies will be closed this weekend, and the 33rd St. entrance to Charles Commons is temporarily closed.
